Four Ways In Which Women Risk Their Health

You exercise and you eat a balanced diet. You see your dentist every 6 months, your physician every month and your gynecologist every year. You entrust your health to professionals and are confident that your health is at its prime. However, did you know that you could be doing so much more to secure your health?

There are a number of ways wherein you or your petty practices are sabotaging your own health. Check out the following list and try to see what more and what else you should be avoiding to stay on the A level of your health card.

1. ADDICTION TO PANTY LINERS. No, you are not sniffing the stuff. Addiction means your overdependence on panty liners. Although panty liners can keep your panties less prone to discharges and messes, leaving the liners on and unchanged for eight hours can invite an amazing horde of bacteria to live and procreate down there, and to attack your uterine track. Wearing panty liners on a 24/7 basis makes you more susceptible to urinary tract infections. Change liners regularly if you are that hooked to them.

2. FORGETTING THE MILK. If you think milk is only for babies and growing children, you are dead wrong. You need a lifetime and steady supply of calcium to reduce the risk of bone loss or osteoporosis. When you give birth and lactate, you lose a considerable amount of calcium in favor of your little one.

As you reach the age 50, your body becomes less efficient with handling and replacing bone loss. Do not wait until you reach 50 to drink your fill of milk and several slices of cheese however. Take note that a requisite to your body's successful absorption and use of calcium is an active lifestyle so that even if you consume 8 glasses of milk a day, you will still suffer from weak bones if you do not exercise.

3. OVEREATING. Yes, like many women out there, you love fine dining. However, honoring every invite you get to eat out at fast food chains and restaurants can take a toll on your health. According to studies, women who often eat out are more prone to diabetes, weight gain, high blood pressure and gallstones. You do not even have to wait until you are 40 or 50 to get really, really sick from eating and overindulging in restaurant food. Watch what you eat. Your life is depending on it.

4. WEARING TIGHT JEANS AND NYLON PANTIES. No, you are not reading a fashion tip. Although you may have a figure to die for when you are wearing skinny jeans, or a super delicious bod when you are sporting a sexy nylon panty, you must know that tight-fitting bottoms and nylon material prevent your skin and organ from breathing. All the darkness and trapped moisture down there are conducive and perfect for yeast infections. Comfortable pants and cotton panties are friendlier, healthier and more breathable alternatives. So wearing them should be preferred.
