Sexually transmitted diseases or STDs are very much common in this modern age. There are several factors on why there are many individuals who have such diseases. One major factor that contributes to the widespread of STDs is the improper ways of sexual intercourse.
The society and its individuals today are very liberated and have different opinions when it comes to sex. Various ways, techniques and procedures of sexual intercourse have been made; however, not all of them are safe and reliable. Safe sex in no longer practiced by several people which is why there have been many reports and findings on STD.
However, we could prevent these diseases from happening to us and to our partners. But how do we accomplish that? There are a few ways and guidelines that we can follow to prevent such diseases. • Check the medical history of your partner before proceeding into sexual intercourse. It might be difficult for others to achieve but keep your zippers zipped before having any sexual intercourse with someone that you don't have an idea about when it comes to that person's medical history. It could be difficult but it is manageable. Think about your future before doing it; try other ways to divert your sexual desires before doing it. Make it safe as possible.
• Wear a condom. Some wouldn't want to use a condom. For them, it is like making love to the rubber condom. However, it is one of the safest ways to have sex. It prevents the fluid transmission which also intercepts diseases such as syphilis, warts, gonorrhea and trichomoniasis. That is how condoms can be useful to us; it could also help with the overpopulation problem of several countries. So wear a condom before making a move for protection purposes.
• Avoid sexual intercourse with someone you don't know. Try to avoid those one night stands with a mystery guy or girl. That person might have STD and could cause some problems for you. If you can't prevent it from happening, just wear contraceptives such as condoms to avoid those fluids from transferring. Just think about it before fulfilling your sexual desires. Your future might be at risk. Let your brain think and not your private part before taking action in such situations.
• Avoid those weird sexual practices such as orgies and swapping of sexual partners. Sexual orgies are very unsafe and are one of the primary causes of STDs; some would even have sexual intercourse with their same sex.
It is kind of weird as to how sex has evolved through the centuries. In the early stages of civilization, sex was widely engaged in only for procreation; however, it has now become the primary pleasure activity for humans in this modern age. For this reason, humans have experimented with various procedures and ways for sexual intercourse but not all of those practices are safe. Those ways may sound unique and fun; however, it could be dangerous.
